The information brochure for admission is available on D.T.E. website. This brochure gives the rules and information regarding the distribution of seats under various heads i.e. Home University (HU), Outside Home University (OHU), Institute Level seats, Minority seats, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) seats etc.; details of the Reservation and provision of seats, Fees concession offered to eligible candidates, details of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), details of the Admission rounds, Institute wise Information, etc.
(A) First Year B. Pharmacy – Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates:-
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together ;
(iii) Obtained Score in MHT-CET of the current year.
The online entrance examination MHT-CET for the admission to Pharmacy degree course in State of Maharashtra for every academic year is conducted by the Competent Authority appointed byGovernment of Maharashtra in the State of Maharashtra.
(B) Direct Second Year B. Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) – For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
and All India Candidature Candidate:-
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
(A) First Year B. Pharmacy – Passed HSC Science with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology) from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State.

Admission to B. Pharmacy is done through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State Mumbai.
Merit for admission is decided based on the score in the MH-CET for Pharmacy to be conducted by DTE in the month of May every year. Notification regarding this will be published by the Maharashtra State Government in leading news papers and details of rules and regulations and dates of schedule shall be given in the brochure to be issued by DTE.
